Banana Theology

The author dissects key doctrinal differences between five faith statements of the Assemblies of God, Christian and Missionary Alliance, Baptist Bible Fellowship, Presbyterian Church of the Philippines, and Independent Baptist Churches in the Philippines. The methodology is that of comparative theology. There are many kinds of bananas in the grocery. There are short yellow bananas and long green bananas. There are the plantain ("saba"), red ("amurado"), latundan ("tundan"), and cavendish ("lakatan") bananas. Likewise, there are many kinds of evangelical churches. Not all evangelical churches are the same. Hence, many believers ask, "How do our church's beliefs differ from others?" It is a crucial question. Many do not know what and why they believe in relation to other beliefs. The research in the book is an attempt to answer that question.
