Baltimore, A Paradise is a novella about Frances, a 17-year-old person who goes on a journey of self-love to overcome trauma and self-doubt while existing in a family that lives on the margins of society.



Frances is introduced to Jaana, an older woman from a different reality, very unlike Earth. Jaana takes Frances on a journey to a place of love where she is given a teaching that changes her life forever.



Rae has poured herself into these pages of rich, emotional prose, offering the reader an intensely personal story sparking with the author's intimate understanding of how pain, trauma, and even love are experienced in the body, and how in darkness we can always find the light.
