Baggy the Kangaroo

How do our youngest family members learn best? Through fairy tales. At the same time, these are some of the best memories of childhood - sitting with our parents on the bed or the sofa, listening to a story being read to us, while we watched in suspense through the pictures in a book. And this story came about when I was out on a walk one day, picking up litter and thinking about how I could bring environmental protection practices to others. And in response, I received this story about a little kangaroo called Baggy the Kangaroo. Baggy the Kangaroo is special. He has a much bigger pouch on his belly than other kangaroos, making it hard to find a friend. But when he started attending school, he met his best friend, a little turtle called Sammy. Sammy lived on the beach, but one day he had an accident because of all the rubbish people throw in the sea and on the beach. This saddened Baggy the Kangaroo so he decided to clean the beach of all the rubbish. His big pouch on his belly came to the rescue, and he could put all the waste in it until he dumped it in a nearby bin. And this good deed of his made him a real hero. So through the story, children learn about the importance of tolerance towards "the different", the power of friendship, and the importance of protecting the environment.
