Exploring the ancient asteroid Psyche, nuclear scientist Salaam Rahal finds himself in a dangerous situation while exploring for evidence of an advanced civilization. His commander and friend, Calager McGeen, and the base's engineer, Sara Lafeete, must risk their own lives to find Salaam. Can they reach him in time? Will they find what he is looking for?
