Set in the North African country Aybil, in the late 70's, ruled by " The Colonel," Lovell Pendleton and a group of expatriate professors work and live under SHARIA law, Arab Socialism, and attempt to find love, friendship, and normalcy, amidst the quagmire and contradictions of their everyday life in Ripoli, Aybil.
