Beskrivelse
After her busy summer at The Guesthouse, Amie settles back into her own home on the shores of Lake Chelan, prepared for the dull routine of the school year, broken only by delightful visits from Josh. Her predictions of an uneventful junior year could not be further from the truth.
First, an accident claims the lives of four of Chelan High's football players. Next, Amie's family's resort catches on fire, resulting in massive damage. Later, her grandpa is injured, and Amie and her mom head to snowy Montana to help him recover. While there, they are met with still another tragedy, and, when Amie needs Josh the most, he seems to be too busy to care.
Through it all, Amie still manages to have a fun semester at school, highlighted by Homecoming weekend, a trip to the state championship game, and special times with friends. She learns important life lessons and grows in her faith, friendships, and maturity.
This is the seventh book in The Guesthouse Girls series. This series is about four teenage girls who meet each other while staying at The Guesthouse as they worked summer jobs in the beautiful lake town of Chelan, Washington. Their friendships continue as they return to the fall semester of their junior years. The first three books in the series are set during the summer and the next four each feature an individual girl in her own school. These books have plenty of crossover with the other girls and the reader is able to see the same event from multiple perspectives in the four Autumn books.
