Aunt Ora tells the stories of her life to her nephew Harland and her niece Amanda from the time she was a girl living on a farm/sawmill to her adventures dating in Saint Louis, Missouri. Based in the 1940s Missouri , Aunt Ora had made a commitment to herself to live in the Big City and shop at the finest stores only to return to rural Missouri where she found a greater joy.
