Ren Singerson is nine year's old and has an embarrassing secret: he's a scaredy-cat. He decides to write a list of everything he's afraid of and hides it so no one can ever know. When a mysterious stranger gives him a bag with a magical gift inside, the list is no longer writing on paper; it becomes real.
Follow along with Ren and his twin-sister Evie as they go on a journey inside their 125-year-old house that will put Ren face-to-face with one of his biggest fears. Will he be able to put aside what scares him in the present to save the lives of three children who live in the past?
