Ate Stories (or Was Eden)

In these finely crafted stories, characters confront the mystery that is life, struggling to find the means to cope and to proceed despite the fact that what they face is ineffable and sometimes frightening. Their methods of coping are sometimes extravagant, perhaps could even be labeled in some instances as evil, but they all, in each case, grapple as best they can with the resources they have in approaching the unnameable.
