At This Point

The life and leadership journey of James H. Evans, founder and Executive Director of BENCHMARK Adventure Ministries, is chronicled in At This Point: Reflections of a Hard-Headed, Imperfect Follower of Jesus Christ. The book introduces the R3 Model of growth, illustrated and punctuated by leadership principles and strategies, combined with numerous purposeful and personal stories with much humor thrown in.



As he writes, "R3 toward Resilience is Responsibility/Reflection/Refocus, a present/past/future framework, influenced by the integration of philosophy, sociology, theology, psychology, my faith tradition, and abundant personal mistakes with guidance from and the examples of others. It is not a specific series of lectures, classes or discussion questions. It is a process that's helpful to move toward a healthier, happier life more focused on the end and a better life before that end."
