In 2390... When Mire finds a chunk of crystal embedded in the grout behind a bar, everyone starts clamoring for a chance to claim it as their own. The cyborg-elect wants to use it to set all the world's volcanoes off at once, a sexy shapeshifting alien says her soulmate is trapped in the thing, and Mire's wife is ensconced in her own unreality.
