Asmodel, a powerful psychic born in a distant past, finds himself thrust into the complexities of the modern world. After thwarting an invasion that threatened Earth, he is given a new quest: to find Izzy, a compassionate and brave librarian from Earth who has been kidnapped from the galactic exchange program. Fearing she is the target of a sinister plot by the mysterious crystal beings known as the Krystalii, Asmodel embarks on a perilous journey across the galaxy.

Isabella "Izzy" Torres always dreamed of exploring the stars to find love like the heroes in her favorite romance novels. When she's offered the chance to go into space and meet an alien soul-mate, she jumps at it, leaving everything behind. But her dreams take a dark turn when she is abducted and crash-lands on the alien jungle planet CeluriaVO. Here, she finds herself amidst a civil war between intelligent panther-like humanoids, the Scikvak, who are on the brink of genocide. The leading faction of Scikvak's are in league with the inter-dimensional Krystalii, who demand Izzy be handed over for their own nefarious purposes.

As Asmodel races against time to save Izzy, he is forced to confront his own trust issues, which clash with Izzy's unyielding optimism and kindness. Their journey is fraught with danger and unexpected revelations, testing their resolve and drawing them closer together in ways neither expected.
