After the government took charge of the Chrysalis outbreak, they told the public it had been contained, that it was no longer a threat.

As the government tries to suppress the latest outbreak and stifle the news, and as outbreaks rage out of control, Torres, Miranda, and Marius embark on a cross-country odyssey, seeking refuge in Montana. But Marius' immune blood is too valuable to the wrong people. And Miranda is hearing the whispers of the Infected.
