Leaving the blazing City of Kanton-Elyp behind them at speed, the mixed bag of tourists on board Rhiffuston Cobalt's dragon airbus take an unexpected detour - which is bad news for the unadventurous reporter, Hadnil Quill, but good news for the lost vegetarian... In Kanton-Elyp, Peldon Flimp and Endrickle Heddup are on the run - and in disguise. The intuitive architect, Xanadu Wrendle, wants to take the Orb to new heights, but he doesn't know Shakeaspear's new play 'Damnlet' is a nightmare. Everything might have been okay, but for a certain Mr Porlock... The play's alive, and it's got its own ending in mind. How will it all play out?...
