As die Ou-Noord Waai is a historical novel of the period between World War 2 and the end of the Apartheid Era. It chronicles the lives & suffering of those affected by the laws imposed on them by the government of the time. The setting is a small town at the Southern Tip of Africa called Bredasdorp from whence the Author hails. Written in Afrikaans, the translation into English is called Not On My Conscience.
