I never intended for these poems to be read.
They are written chronologically, starting from the summer before my senior year at Baylor University, and ending the summer before my first year at Seminary. Inside you'll find poems of joy, heartache, growth, prayer, and nonsense; a year of my life from the perspective of poetry.
In the summer of 2014 I bought No Matter the Wreckage by Sarah Kay and fell in love with her writing, so much so that she gave me a voice. So that's where this book starts, after I bought her poetry book.
