Arsenic is ubiquitous in nature and has toxic effects on humans, animals, and plants. This book discusses arsenic toxicity and ways of mitigating it. It includes seven chapters that discuss arsenic sources, contamination consequences, and remediation possibilities. The chapters address arsenic and risks to human health, plant health and function, and fish and aquatic biota, as well as the chemistry of gas emission control and possibilities for remediating arsenic contamination in water, soil, and air.
