Arman, Finding the Beginning

In an alternate universe, in the last living underground human colony, on a dying Earth with runaway climate heating, a scientist finds an alternate dimension that can support life, and moves the last of the human race to it. It, turns out to be in a damaged Areece colonial warship, floating in a universe of nothingness and completely dead matter. They combine their technologies to search for a dimension they can live in.
