Beskrivelse
Essays in text and image, subjective arguments, personal reflections about what's happening and isn't (but probably should)--the latest edition of this twice-yearly bulletin from the front tackles architecture's meanings and challenges; considers strategies for reconstruction (as in New Orleans); looks at the ideas of the influential European architectural fellowship Team 10; and considers the protection of our built heritage, however new it may be. The Architecture Bulletin is about the ways we reach judgements about architecture, whether we encounter it via by the media, framed for consumer enjoyment, or mainlined in a model to scale. It is also about the ways architecture can imbue our identities and behaviors with meaning, in metropolises like Hong Kong, in postcolonial nations like Indonesia, or at home, wherever that may be.
