Carl Gustav Jung (1875/1961), creator of the Psychology of Archetypes, pointed out the existence of some "primordial figures" that, from the deepest psychic stratum - which he called Collective Unconscious - manifest themselves with incarnations that vary in time and cultures, but that - always - provoke changes in individual and psychosocial behaviour. In this book, the author, a renowned researcher of the Jungian Field from Social Psychology, refers to the way in which - at present - the archetypes of the Feminine are manifested in Western culture. In this way, he constructs a text of profound analysis that invites discussion and debate. Antonio Las Heras has previously published other highly topical books, such as "The Interpretation of Dreams and Other Jungian Studies", "Handbook of Jungian Psychology" and "Sigmund Freud, Psychoanalysis and Parapsychology". Based in the city of Buenos Aires, he constantly travels around the world researching archetypal symbologies as well as giving lectures, courses and conferences on his speciality.
