Beskrivelse
Some of the most famous architectural theorists are pitted against one another in this volume. The subject for debate is modernism, the most pressing issue of the 20th century. The book is a combination of the two Architectural Press titles. In the first, Pevsner and Richards argue that the austere rationality of the modern movement is after all losing out. In contrast, Dennis Sharp examines the evidence to support the counter-argument.
