Vijina teacher hailed from a middle class family. The father was a professor and a respected communist leader of the locality and mother was a teacher. She was selected for scholarship for bharatanatyam by Centre for Cultural Resource and Training when the accident in the family occurred and she had lost both her parents. She was forced to give up her dreams and choose a teaching profession. Renjith had also given up his childhood dream to become a teacher. Unlike Vijina's dream Renjith's ambition and ideas are out of the way and he leads a dangerous nocturnal life. She had fallen for him the moment he came to teach at Tirur. The life he had chosen for himself has no space for silly romance. Their lives ultimately get intermingled and it has to be seen whether she would emerge unscratched.
