Animals of Long Ago: An Activity Book

This beautifully illustrated book presents information about animals of long ago at a level easily accessible to a young student. The book touches on possible explanations for the extinction of those huge animals, and discusses how other animals were able to evolve and change in order to survive. Children also learn how paleontologists use fossils to find out about prehistoric animals.
