Following the events of The Bird House and his release into the wild as a Red Tailed Hawk, Lyall has finally settled into his new life. But when an accident leaves him injured, Lyall is thrust back into the world of humans. Reuniting with old friends and meeting some new, Lyall must decide which life he belongs in.

With his wing broken and his spirit tested, he must confront his deepest fears and make a choice that will shape his future. Will he return to the skies, or will he find a new path among the friends and family of his past life?
