Unlike any other literary genre, epic constitutes a historically deep archive of global imaginations and narratives. Thus, this study asks for the origins of globalisation in the long history of the epic. The works taken into account, showcase and create a globalised view of the world - even before the surface of the Earth has been explored completely.
