And Back Again

We would never be the same; you simply cannot be after experiencing something like what we had. What doesn't kill you does make you stronger, that much I know for sure. That 2011 trip eastward is captured in my first book: PBJ and Me. It was an adventure all on its own. And yet despite the flurry of obstacles and events that happened on that trip east, what happened after we landed in Connecticut still leaves me shaking my head.
