An Unholy Alliance: Nobody Wins. The lives of two families, the Livingstones and the Mowbrays, who come from different ends of the social scale, run in parallel for over 100 years. Through two World Wars, social and political upheaval, whether they like it or not, fate throws them together. Sometimes for good and sometimes, not. Three generations of these two families, through a variety of circumstances, find themselves entangled in situations of domestic and world intrigue that eventually culminate in a plot to destroy the British Government.
