An Unexpected Fling

My life has been turned upside down. I married my high school sweetheart, and we ran our three-thousand-acre ranch together. He was the love of my life until he was gone. Now, I'm just trying to keep my head above water. My ranch foreman wants a vacation and I hire a man literally off the streets to help me. What the hell was I thinking? When I saw her in the grocery store, I knew she was something special. She was absolutely gorgeous. I never knew a woman could be so gorgeous. When I heard she was hiring some temporary help on her ranch, I jumped at the opportunity to be close to her. I didn't think it would go anywhere until one night when it was storming, and she needed some comfort. I'm Michael Creed, God, I hope she gives me a chance.

 

Things begin to happen around my ranch that shouldn't, and Michael is there for me the whole time. He's one handsome man and I shouldn't be giving him this much attention, he's ten years younger than me, but he's…well…damn good-looking.
