Beskrivelse
This study focuses on contemporary German Easter Sermons as a central homiletic topic, highlighting the homiletic impact of resurrection hermeneutics. The first part describes hermeneutical touch points by exemplary scholars like Reimarus, Strauss, Schlatter, Bultmann, Hirsch, Marxsen, Ludemann and Theissen. In the second part, the author develops two methods to analyze Easter sermons on Mark 16:1-8. She tracks the preachers' references to biblical texts, and analyzes the sermons' understanding of resurrection. The third part reflects upon the results suggesting a fruitful hermeneutics of the Easter Gospel for preachers and proposing ways to address the neglect of the Christological center of the message of resurrection.
