An Eagle Amongst The Ravens

June 1940The tide of invasion laps against Britain's shores, and Robert Cotterill and his sister Peggy find themselves evacuated to a small farming village outside Whitby. Unwanted and mistreated by the lady they are placed with, the children later fall under the care of a local family who treats them as their own.

As the first days of the Battle of Britain play out overhead, the children find themselves caught between a team of Nazi infiltrators intent on stealing a long-hidden secret from the heart of Carrion's Wood, and the old hermit tasked to protect it.

But what is the secret that has remained undisturbed for so long, who is its mysterious protector, and what dangers face those who intend to disturb its silent shadows?
