Valaria's friend, Penny, says out of the blue the Tuesday before Labor Day in 1985, "Let's go to Mexico." Valaria says, "Okay Let's go " and the two friends set out on an adventure that will forever change their lives. In Mexico, they discover people who care about and trust each other-and a culture where family is intact.
