Amunet's Fables

The Amunet's Fables series of books have been influenced by the genres of Sci-fi, Fantasy and Afrofuturism, all wrapped up in a paradigm of Indigenous African spirituality. This is indeed a unique blend between Octavia E Butler, Paulo Coelho, Gene Roddenberry, and the new film directors of the African spiritual world view - "Wakanda For Ever." 'The Door is closing', is a metaphor for the seismic shifts which are taking place in all aspects of human existence. The Door is closing on inequality and the old ways which are not life affirming. These four short stories are a reminder that moving with the times does not necessitate relinquishing your indigenous traditions or your obligation to pursue knowledge which brings you closer to being the best that you can become.
