Beskrivelse
This volume has two parts: The first section contains "Amoricon," a 25-page verse narrative that focuses on political intrigue and the price of power. "I think that readers can see reflections of contemporary politics in this piece," says the author William Graham. "But its style pays homage to the classical tradition of extended poetic narratives." The second section contains a series of "poetical vignettes" that focus on travel, nature, aging and mortality, among other topics. "I consider much of my work as 'social poetry, ' because I feel that poetry should cast a light on universal societal issues," Graham adds. "In addition, I'm the traditionalist in the sense that I use rhymes in most instances."
