Amir Al Shu'ara Ahmad Shawqi

Ahmed Shawqi-Ameer al-Shu'ara', (the prince of poets), was the greatest Arabic poets laureate, an Egyptian poet and dramatist who pioneered the modern Egyptian literary movement, most notably introducing the genre of poetic epics to the Arabic literary tradition. Selected poems include Nahj al Burdah, Khadauoha, Salu Qalbi, Damascus, and many others. The selection of this book for publication in the USA is sponsored by the Arab American Encyclopedia in the process of Ihyaa al Turath al Al Arabi fil Mahjar-Resurrection of Arab Heritage in Diaspora-project for the purpose of serving new Arab generations.
