Robert Tanner has translated Pushkin's classic novel-in-verse, Eugene Onegin, into strict rhyme and meter, while inserting himself as a character/translator into the blank spaces of the work, much as Pushkin inserted himself into his poem. Edited by Val Vinokur and Peter Scotto, who introduces the work.
