When Jesus said, 'Follow me' (Jn. 21:19), it was an invitation to live as His teachings directed, to believe as He believed. Many traditionally accepted Christian doctrines may or may not reflect the religion of Jesus. Some reflect questionable economic, political, social and even superstitious influences.
