Ally's Busy Day: The Story of a Service Dog

Ally, a black lab golden retriever mix, was taken from an animal shelter the day before she was to be euthanized to become a service dog for Maureen, a totally blind quadriplegic. The book tells, through beautiful illustrations and text, what a typical day is like for Ally. Told in the first person, Ally teaches children all the tasks that she does to assist Maureen. Children will learn about teamwork, disability and capability of both the dog and master in this unique book, which will inspire both young and old readers.
