Guardian Angel has accepted a mission to find a missing ship with five Fremi on board. They journey across the galaxy in search of the missing crew. Hermes becomes trapped in a nebula which damages the light drive. Guardian Angel is marooned on a planet with no way out.

Guardian Angel saves the Fremi and escapes the nebula only to find they have been gone two and a half years. When he returns to earth, Guardian Angel finds the galaxy has been invaded by the Mo-noc. His next mission is to save the planet from the galactic tyranny of the Mo-noc lizards.
