Alexis Morton, a detective who hated the limelight, was injured in the line of duty, presenting her with an opportunity to evaluate whether or not she wanted to continue working as a detective in her Southwest desert home town. She took over the small bar her parents had while she was recuperating. Then the murders started. Alexis had some decisions to make.
