Beskrivelse

In an Italian town in the 1950s, at a time characterized by the economic boom and numerous revolutions such as television that transformed language and family dynamics, lives Alessia, a young woman of 21. The daughter of merchants, Alessia resides on the outskirts of the city. A marriage to a mechanic's son is destined for Alessia; a future as a housewife seems inevitable. However, Alessia rejects this fate; following the discovery of her boyfriend's betrayal, she decides to leave him, creating a scandal. Her goal becomes to find work. Thus comes the figure of Mr. M, a 35-year-old man, a charismatic business owner, looking for a secretary. Alessia, characterized by a perfect French fringe and a certain degree of awkwardness, is hired by the charming Mister M. Despite several gaffes, which only enhance her charm in Mister M's eyes, Alessia undertakes intense training to live up to her new role. At her interview, although she initially seems a mess, she is able to arouse an unexpected interest in Mister M-could it be love?
