The third book in Catherine Masons Thomas's "Living Alcohol Free" series. This book is written to inspire you if you want to control alcohol or be alcohol free for an evening, a day, a month or forever. This book will help you solve the problem and overcome the fear of -what on earth am I going to drink if I am not drinking or if I am cutting down? This book is aimed at everyone who wants to drink less and have a better life. Nowadays, that is a lot of us. You don't have to sign up to Alcoholics Anonymous or go into rehab to want to cut down or stop drinking temporarily or permanently. You just want a rest or to dial down the significance that alcohol has in your life. This book will help you see the changes you are making as positively delicious. If you want to give your liver a bit of a break, temporarily or permanently, or just be healthier with less alcohol, this book will also help you to find great things to drink so you don't miss the alcohol. I am going to talk a bit about whether to go for "low alcohol" drinks or avoid it all together in Chapter 1 but this is a book of recipes with no alcohol at all. My aim was not to ape drinking alcohol but to provide an alternative set of ideas of what to drink. My view is that if you are not drinking or cutting down, it is better to get away from drinks that are taste-alikes or lookalikes because you risk feeling deprived. These recipes are not about deprivation, they are about celebrating healthy living. You won't find any sack cloth and ashes punishment green gloop drinks here. In this book you will find recipes for example: Fresh & fruity: Spiced Apple Twister or Purple Passion Warming & cooling: Hot Chocolate Love or Cold Orange Intense Celebratory & comfy hot: Sparkling Cherry Spritzer or Banana Custard Toddy.
