Most people know that alchemy comprised three realms or kingdoms, plant, animal, and mineral. It is well known that alchemical elixirs were part of plant alchemy called spagyrics. The elixir of life was also called aqua vitae, aurum potable, elixir of immortality, the golden soma, etc. Plants are not iron oxide. Plants do not rust in my opinion.
