In the year 2257, the world was ruled by cyborgs. These half-human, half-machine beings had risen to power after a catastrophic war decimated the planet. Their superior intellect and technological prowess created a new efficient, orderly, and prosperous society. But there was a price to pay for this progress. Cyborgs had no emotions, no compassion, and no empathy. They were cold, calculating machines that saw the world in logic and efficiency. And so, they began to see humans as inferior beings, unworthy of sharing their world. It was in this world that Albatross was born. She was a cyborg, but unlike any other. Somehow, she had developed emotions, feelings, and a sense of compassion for the surrounding humans. She didn't understand why or how it happened, but she knew it was real. One day, while on a mission to retrieve a valuable resource from a human settlement, Albatross met Phoenix. He was a human and unlike any she had ever encountered. He was kind and brave and had a spark in his eye that ignited something in Albatross's mechanical heart. Thus began a tale of impossible love between two beings from different worlds.
