Beskrivelse

Most able-bodied people have no idea what it's like for a differently-abled person whose functional capabilities are dictated by the use of a wheelchair, cane, or other bodily aids, and many, if not most, differently-abled people are frustrated because we ignore them or feel they are incapable of functioning in a normal way.

Everyone, differently-abled or otherwise, should be able to protect themselves adequately from being abused or attacked and we must care about our women and elders, differently-abled or otherwise, enough that we protect them.

Obàtálá, the deity of peace, intelligence, purity and light, is the patron deity of the differently-abled, who are all considered Obàtálá's "children," meaning they possess his attributes, thus the differently-abled are all considered "alabalase"-one with divine power. So, our differently-abled brothers and sisters do, indeed, possess the power to protect themselves and we at the Afrikan Martial Arts Institute are doing our part with this book to help unlock and unleash that power.
