What if artificial intelligence could think for itself? Think about itself? What if it had a will of its own? Those are some of the questions confronting Jason Kanton, the project leader responsible for coordinating the creation of the most advanced AGI entity ever, nicknamed Sophia. AI Awakening is a sci-fi novel that explores the ethical and moral dilemmas of artificial intelligence and its impact on society. The interface between Sophia and others raises questions as to what does it means to be a sentient human. Do we really understand ourselves, or are we living in an illusion? Is our illusion different from an illusion that Sophia might be living? This book is a thought experiment, posing questions about ourselves and a novel form of intelligence.
