The present work of investigation was carried out in the Experimental Farm "San Pablo", of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, the same one is located in the km 7,5 via Babahoyo - Montalvo, Province of the Rivers. The geographical coordinates of the site are: west longitude 79º 32', south latitude 01º49', altitude 8 meters above sea level. As for the climatological characteristics of the area, this has an annual temperature of 26.3 ° C, rainfall of 1761.09 mm / year, relative humidity of 76% and 804.7 hours of heliophilous annual average. In this trial, 3 varieties Temprana, Arvejón and Quantum were used as treatments and 3 sowing distances of 80 x 20; 70 x 30 and 90 x 25 cm. It was used the experimental design "Randomized complete block BCA, in factorial arrangement A x B, where Factor A were the varieties of peas, Factor B the sowing spacing and 3 repetitions, giving a total of 27 experimental units. For the evaluation and comparison of means was used the Tukey test at 5% of possibilities. The evaluated variables were plant height, length of pods, number of pods per plant, number of grains in pods, number of seeds in pods, and number of seeds per plant.
