Agribusiness becomes a most important sector of developing countries due global opportunities of trade. New markets, high yielding inputs and new technologies are hitting agriculture every day and the market of processed and packaged food products is increasing day by day and therefore there is a vital need of trained manpower in agribusiness sector. Agribusiness has capacity to produce and supply the sufficient food and generates employment opportunities for the fast growing population which can mitigate the problem of food crisis and unemployment. Agribusiness management is necessary to develop trained manpower, to create business opportunities, to reduce poverty, to generate employment for youths and true industrial growth in the economy. An agribusiness depends on various aspects like planning, marketing, environment and proper management of all the activities inside and outside the farm. Present book includes all these major areas such as major sectors of agribusiness, how to plan a agriventure, role of agribusiness, how to be entrepreneurs, marketing management, impact of cultural, political, and socio economic factors, set up procedure, major challenges of agribusiness and management for successful agribusiness. The purpose of this book is to provide assistance to the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) degree program and other readers at SAU's, CAU's and other ICAR institutes. The present book covered whole syllabus of fundamentals of agribusiness management and entrepreneurship development in major thirteenth chapters/headings and despite the chapters, multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, expand terms questions, short and long answer type questions are given at the end of each chapter for practice and revision of the major points for the better understanding of the chapters. The entire material presented in simple language and systematic manner for easy and better understanding of students.
