Ava's job was to protect those who could not protect themselves, at least not against what they did not know about. She has been here for a millennium give or take a year. The bad guys were not the kind that could be put behind bars, local police were not qualified to arrest these guys. They were the types that had to get sent back to their own planet and be punished as they saw fit. She has had more happento her in the past few years between her human team and her love life she was almost complete.
