Against All Odds

Embroidered with a vibrant array of emotions, the book tells the story of Mr. Trilok Singh Gulhati. Born in Mardan (NWFP), he witnessed the destruction during the Partition and saw hate in the eyes of people all around. His family was forced to flee Mardan and take refuge in a refugee camp in Patiala. Even in such trying times, the young boy still had big dreams in his eyes. He observed the grandeur of the Maharajas and the ever-changing life around him. Despite all the impossible odds, all stacked against him, Mr. Gulhati was determined to build a better life from the ground up.
