"In the face of the political impasses that are blocking our country, the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the face of the collapse of the nation's economic structures, in the face of the material, intellectual and moral ruin of our people and in the face of the habituation to social chaos and the culture of despair that the Congolese risk internalising and living out on a permanent basis, we are proposing in this book perspectives and guidelines for promoting a new spirit of citizenship in the Congolese economic, political and cultural imagination. Under the sign of the African breath of freedom to break the chains of neo-liberalism and their deadly effects on our peoples, it is a question of setting benchmarks and opening up new paths for a change in the imaginary and in social practices. The aim is to free the dynamics of resilience, develop the energies of creativity and promote a new will to make the Congo a land of hope, with a people who have confidence in themselves and in their genius, in all areas, in the service of the entire African continent.
